Forest Path of Memories

 

Walking on rich soil and pine needles, loam, ferns, wildflowers, and carpets of grass;
overhead, the wind hums, birds sing,
and leaves rustle in the mottled canopies.

Moss and vines, ground cover, undergrowth,
the musky sponge-like mushrooms;
and the musty, worm filled mulch;
the air smells of green growth and brown earth.
